My Work Experience

Land Transport Authority Intern, Intelligent Transport System Centre

  • • Collaborated in the development of traffic plans for road operations such as KPE/TPE Punggol Flyover.
  • • Volunteered to conduct before-after impact analysis of the opening of KPE/TPE Punggol Flyover.
  • • Engaged in F1 Traffic Planning & Ops in 2018.
  • • Audited and digitalized the site-details on SCATS pertinent to the function of the department, thereby vastly increases the work efficiency of the department.

HR Administrator, Science Center Board

  • • Actively sourced for temporary and full-time staff.
  • • Managed HR-related and work payment issues for temporary staff and interns.
  • • After 3 months, acquired by SCB from recruiting agency with 33% wage hike justified with expanded job scope and good performance.

My Overseas Experience

Student Exchange Programme - Vanderbilt University (USA)

The exchange programme is definitely an eye opener for me. From interacting with the locals to navigating unfamiliar territories, the experience has taught me to become more independent, resourceful, and creative in problem-solving. Yunnan Rural Community Integrated Sustainable Infrastructure Development

  • • Led a 18-man team in the planning of an overseas project at a village in Yunnan – Majiazhai.
  • • Drafted a 167-page NUS official masterplan report that consists of on-site experimental field analyses.
  • • Analyses include Environment Impact Assessment (EIA), Design Capacity, Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA), Water Quality Survey, Structural Survey, Geotechnical Survey, Land Survey, and Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA).
  • • Majiazhai is currently under development and parts of the masterplan is observed to be adopted by the Chinese government.
